ABOUT US

Modern Hymnal was started by worship leader and songwriter, Tom Read, as a vehicle to encourage songwriters to write songs for their local church. Through writing camps and mentoring, over 30 songwriters have collaborated and written over 50 songs together, rooted in scriptural integrity and artistic excellence. In 2025, Modern Hymnal began to release some of these songs into the wild.
